the story: the appetite of this man just can't be sated. He eats not only the tree that the apple he has just eaten was
growing on, but also everything else he can find on earth. the earth itself shrinks and fred keeps getting bigger. Finally,
the earth looks like no more than a half-eaten apple, which then collapses. Fred tumbles. but he finds a single, final seed and...
eats that, too! And then? (see the movie!)
